Transportation is available to anyone who has a need in getting to and from Emmanuel Baptist Temple.  We have a van ministry that we make available to anyone in the Bailey Lakes, Savannah, and greater Ashland area.

At Emmanuel Baptist Temple it is our goal to present the Gospel to those who attend our services so that they might accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and be born again.  God is still in the business of changing people's lives, and we pray that this will be the reality experienced through our transportation ministry. If you would like a ride please contact us by phone at 419.962.2038. or leave your information by email here.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time does the Van come to my door?

The time that the van arrives depends on where you come in the route. Generally, the van is out from 9:15am to about 9:45am picking up. Your van leader will tell you a specific time range to be ready!

What time will I get back home?

Our Sunday School begins at 10:00am with our morning service taking place right after at 11:00am. The morning service usually lasts an hour or so.  You can expect to arrive back home between 12:20pm and 12:45pm on a regular Sunday Morning schedule.

What will I find when I arrive?

You will be welcomed by a friendly church atmosphere.  Everyone meets in the Worship Auditorium prior to being dismissed to the individual Sunday School Classes.  We will make sure that you are directed to the right class. Our building is compact and the classes are easy to find.   While the teaching time is always from the Bible, many times pictures and cards are used to reinforce the lesson. There is singing and student participation games as well. The purpose of each class is to teach the Love of God through Jesus Christ. All that we do is for that purpose.

I have a friend who wants to come. Can they ride?

If you have a friend or relative who would like to come to church with you, we will just need an address for them. Because of the limited space and route of our van, we can only pick up people who fall within certain boundaries. If you are unsure, you can ask your van leader or call the office.

 What is the dress code?

We have no official dress code for church, though we believe that we should always offer God our best. Whatever you have that is your best would be appropriate for church. We do ask that riders maintain modesty especially during the summer months.

I can't come this Sunday. What do I do?

If there is ever a time that you cannot come, it is best to let the van leader know as soon as possible. This can be done by calling the office or sending an email and letting us know, even if it is Saturday night or early Sunday morning.
